Date: Sunday 21 May — A few of us are doing the 80km ride, driving up in the morning. The 80KM starts at 10am. Partners & friends welcome to join.
Dirty Pig & Whistle gravel riding event
A few members have been talking about this event, so we thought we would pop it up on Team App and I have created a Bayside Cycling Club team and negotiated a 10% discount on the entry fees. This is the third year the event has been running and with many more gravel riders I am sure it will be even bigger this year. Sunday 21 May – gravel event, Saturday 20 May CX riding and competition events.

We suggest registering for the 80km distance, there is also a 120km or a 40km distance.
Some of the proceeds and fund raising is going to the Big Brother & Big Sister charity.
There will be an event village, marshalls along the roads which are mostly closed with over 80% of the ride on gravel roads.

Event village Hammond Park, Water Street, Creswick opens at 7.30am there is parking available please refer to the event information. There will be coffee available here.
9.30am – 120km event start – entry fee $159
10.00am – 80km event start – entry fee $139
10.15am – 40km event start – entry fee $99

There are a number of parking options available for you.
There is ample parking at Melbourne University, accessible heading east up the hill via Water Street (400m).
At the southern end of Moore Street alongside the Creswick Creek (90m)

Please do not park outside the shops in town. On the Saturday, this is time-limited parking. For both days we want to keep these clear for the local community and trade. Please also be mindful of not blocking any access to homes and businesses. It is important we respect the locals and keep our impact to a minimum.
